Quantic Dream announced on Twitter that the originally planned July 18 release date for Fahrenheit‘s PlayStation 4 version is delayed.
„Apologies, FAHRENHEIT – INDIGO PROPHECY won’t release on 7/18. We shall confirm the release date in the next days. Should be soon. Stay safe.” – their tweet says.
With this comment, they didn’t explain the reason why the game comes later. Let’s also add the fact that Quantic Dream announced the delay just a few days before the initially planned launch, which smells fishy, doesn’t it? Fahrenheit, which is available on the PS2, will come to the PS4 with 1080p upscaled resolution, and Trophies… hopefully, by the end of July.
Let’s hope for the best, and think that the devs (who has made Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls since then – they are now working on Detroit: Become Human) have a minor bug to fix, which should not take several weeks to fix!
