South Park: The Fractured But Whole still has a decent marketing behind itself.
Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the two fathers of South Park, talk about several details in the upcoming South Park game. We’re just a single day (!) after the events of The Stick of Truth, and after a quick order by Cartman, the kids change to superhero costumes. Our character is the same from the previous game, but we will have to start over from scratch, as it was an RPG franchise. (The Gothic games tended to do this „reset!”)
Stone, and Parker, who are both admittedly big gamers, even took Pewdiepie’s videos as feedback, because let’s face it: the popular YouTuber was part of the community, who shared his thoughts and opinions about the game. From the script to the combat system, many other details are mentioned in the video below.
But why’s the game called The Fractured But Whole? Simple: in the previous South Park game, we had a magical butthole, and it was taken to the next level: it can now rip the time apart. Literally. (No joke: this is the real reason why the game is called South Park: The Fractured But Whole!)
The game will be out on December 6 on PS4, X1, and PC.
