Milestone‘s RIDE wasn’t THAT bad last year, but we have to admit it: it had problems, such as extremely long loading times, as well as save files that ended up corrupted. Hopefully, the sequel will address these issues.
RIDE will get a sequel on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The pre-ordering nets us the following bonuses. Quoting the press release:
- Suzuki Hayabusa 2015: Hayabusa is a Japanese term which means peregrine falcon, and it’s a synonym of the incredible speed of this vehicle produced since 1999. The beating heart is the 1340 cc 4-cylinder inline liquid-cooled engine. The Hayabusa accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
- Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 2015: The Factory version was a further evolution of the RSV4 project, and it was designed with the laudable intention of creating the fastest bike on the track. This model was conceived as the missing link between a standard production model and the bike that won the Superbike Championship. So this model, combined with the advanced APRC electronic management system, further enhance the already excellent motorcycle design features of the RSV4, making it one of the highest performing homologated bikes in the world.
- 10 helmets: a pack with 10 helmet that inclues (sic!) the most iconic brand in the world like: Nolan, X-Lite, Suomi, AGV and much much more.
We will be able to buy the pre-order DLC separately for 4 dollars/euros. Are they seriously charging people for helmets…?
The game will launch on October 7, and it will also have supermoto, too. Most of the commenters under the first video have already deemed this game a failure with comments such as „I don’t trust Milestone to sit the right way on a toilet seat…” and „LOL… Milestone churning out the officially licensed broken bullshit motorcycle games again, for another year. I’m sure it looks great, sounds terrible and plays horribly. Once again I’ll pass thanks.”
