The found footage genre continues with Resident Evil 7.
In the teaser, Capcom used that kind of gameplay, but the developers seemed to have taken a few more steps ahead. In the trailer, a woman tries to send a message to a character named Ethan. However, she is being chased by someone else, who seems to be in bad shape, to say the least.
The location looks to be under the house we have tried to look around in the teaser, but that’s pretty much it that we can put together in the puzzle, as Capcom is enigmatic with their game. The trailer raised more questions than what we had before…
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will also have PlayStation VR-support, so the ambiance and the gameplay might be even scarier. Also, the game, which launches on January 24 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, seems to take Silent Hill’s place, while the „TPS/FPS with zombies” style is likely to be occupied by the new Metal Gear game…
