Featuring Harley Quinn!
NetherRealm can stand next to Capcom and Namco. While the Japanese devs are either finetuning Street Fighter V or developing Tekken 7, they slowly gear Injustice 2 towards a completed status, and meanwhile, they go against the rules. Where else do you see such an in-depth character customization which changes the characters skills in a fighting game?
Finally, we see a complete match with Harley Quinn, but there’s also some Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle in there (we saw them the last time, though). In the second, shorter video, Deadshot also makes an appearance.
Make sure to skip to around 11:30 in the first trailer: you can see the character customization in action. NetherRealm does turn fighting into an RPG to an extent, and it might be a risky move for them.
Injustice 2 is out in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
