Bethesda still keeps Prey in a cloud of mystery, although the publisher might be doing it for a good reason.
Prey, which is just sixteen years ahead in history (2032), doesn’t show what the humanity can be capable of by that year. The space station has more than meets the eye: it’s not a Transformer, but it has a ton of aliens, and we also wake up as a key experiment that could change humanity forever. We can’t believe that, to be fair.
Space station? Alien: Isolation might pop in as a thought, but unlike that game, we don’t have to hide from a seemingly undestroyable xenomorph, as we will be able to take the fight to those aliens with our superpowers, thanks to those experiments.
Prey will be out sometime in 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Arkane‘s involvement is promising, as their last game, Dishonored, wasn’t a terrible title.
