UPDATE – Meanwhile, the DLC‘s trailer was released officially, so now you can have a look at what you can expect on October 25 in this 15-dollar DLC. The second expansion comes in early 2017.
ORIGINAL: Dark Souls‘ third installment will receive its first DLC shortly.
Bandai Namco has published a few details already in Japanese gaming magazines about FromSoftware‘s game’s expansion – they also mentioned the release date, too.
Ashes of Ariandel will launch on October 25 or 26 (depending on your region) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. PlayStation’s official Twitter account screwed up big time by publishing a trailer prematurely – Sony already deleted the tweet. (If it becomes available again, we will update this article accordingly – the announcement will happen today.)
New weapons, new magic, plus a PVP-exclusive map called Immortal Competition – this is what you will get with Ashes of Ariandel. In Japan, it will cost 1200 yen, which means the Western pricing is going to be about 15 dollars. The Season Pass costs 2000 yen, which has been seen as 25 dollars previously – this will net you both DLCs.
After the Souls series, FromSoftware is probably up to something new.
