Star Wars Battlefront 3, which was deleted before it could have been finished, shows more of itself via two new YouTube videos.
Sure, 2015’s Battlefront isn’t that bad, but it only became a somewhat complete game via DLC-s, making DICE‘s title lacking when it launched (there were no space fights, for example). Because of this thought, Star Wars fans might appreciate what Free Radical was trying to achieve eight years ago.
We can see a brief segment of the campaign when X1 and X2 head to Tatooine for a new assignment. You might quickly realize how the entire game feels outdated even by 2008 standards. X1 and X1 then fly out towards the surface of Tatooine without a single loading screen. The second video continues what the first one had, and we just wonder: what if this game was finished? (There wouldn’t be placeholder sound effects.)
Unfortunately, we will never see Battlefront 3 completed officially.
