Final Fantasy XV: If It Comes To PC, It Won’t Happen Next Year!

Hajime Tabata, co-director of Final Fantasy XV had a few thoughts about the PC version of the RPG at Spanish website Vida Extra, and translated by WCCFtech.

Tabata says that Square Enix would gladly „work to provide a better version” than what the consoles will have. However, they would need extra time to develop the port, though: at least a year would be required to adapt the engine, and that takes a lot of time (especially with a triple-A game, unless you want to rush it out the door).

Tabata also mentioned that they still haven’t decided about the PC port. Going behind his PR speech, it obviously means they wait until the end of November when the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One version arrives, and see how they sell.

If there will be a PC port, it better not be a terrible one!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
