The Spencer–Hill duo might be showing up in a different form than the classic slapstick fighting movies.
Although Bud Spencer has passed away in June at the age of 86, us Hungarians still largely respect him and his work, even as a water polo player as Carlo Pedersoli. Other parts of the world remember his legacy, too – Trinity Team is developing a game with his and Terence Hill‘s style in focus, and it’s called Slaps and Beans, with a retro beat’em up style.
The developers put their project up on Kickstarter, and with 41 days left, they already received 49,420 euros out of the 130 thousand target. They are ~33% there with a long time left.
Spencer and Hill both gave official support for Slaps and Beans, so it’s not an unofficial game. Trinity plans to release the game by the end of 2017, and the target platforms are Windows, Mac, and Linux – they might also port it to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, probably after reaching a stretch goal.
Let’s get to slap the bad guys.
