Final Fantasy XV‘s first major „DLC episode” will focus on someone else other than Gladiolus, too.
The game, which launched on November 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will expand with new content such as four story DLCs (or an online multiplayer), each focusing on one main character. The first one in the line is Episode Gladio, featuring Gladiolus and a dimension-hopping, sword collecting Gilgamesh. He’s a longtime Final Fantasy villain, so Square Enix‘s move is a nod to the veterans in the franchise. He changes his looks constantly, so it’s going to be interesting to see how he will look in Final Fantasy XV.
The DLC will also open areas that were previously unaccessible. We already have a lot of places to visit, and this is just the beginning.
The game’s director, Hajime Tabata also announced that there were plans in the works to add new cutscenes to the already released RPG, which took a long time to finally hit the stores.
Wondering when the VR experience is coming as well.
I second this!
This is all pretty exciting. I was wondering if maybe this relates to when Gladios disappears a bit in the game “doing his errands.” All this DLC begs the question, do you bother doing this all in your new game+ file or is new game + coming long before the DLC that extends gameplay. I’d like some more details on what is contained in new game plus. Great article though.
they already told you what he was doing when he left the party, he was helping the ladies of lestallum with the reactor monsters.
