Warner Bros. and NetherRealm‘s new game can now be marked on our calendars.
The release date that the devs and the publisher are going for is not surprising – NetherRealm‘s previous games, Mortal Kombat (9), Mortal Kombat X, and the first Injustice game all arrived in April, and the DC universe‘s character can combat again from May 16. This day was first teased by Ed Boon yesterday on Twitter, but shortly after, the developer confirmed May 16… on the North American continent.
We haven’t seen new characters from Injustice 2 for months now (Harley Quinn versus Deadshot, if we remember correctly… and that was back in August), so perhaps it’s time to hype fighting game fanatics with some new information. (There should be a PC port announcement on the table as well – Injustice 2 is only confirmed for PlayStation 4/Xbox One, as well as the iOS/Android duo at the moment.)
