Is Guillermo Del Toro Creatively Involved In Death Stranding?

Is the developer team (mostly pinched from Konami after the cancellation of Silent Hills) attacking in full force with Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus in the front?

Del Toro told IGN that he’s only participating in Death Stranding as a character, and he’s not involved any more than that in Kojima’s new game.

Kojima-san called me and said, ‘I want you to be a character in the game,’ and I said, ‘Gladly.’ He’s discussed his ideas so I could understand the character, but other than that I’m not involved, creatively, at all. This is entirely Kojima-san’s game. I think it’s gonna be a fantastic game, 100%. But this is him and his ideas. I’m just a puppet in his hands. My contribution is limited to being a cheerleader for his ideas and being scanned for long hours at a time. That’s about it,” Del Toro said.

Still, Death Stranding is one of the most awaited titles throughout the world. For Kojima, this game is a fresh new challenge after spending roughly three decades at Konami. He seems to be on the right path…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
