For Honor: More Like Falling Honor?

Is the hype dying?

For Honor became Ubisoft’s most played open beta just before its release, although Ghost Recon: Wildlands has dethroned the game since then. Still, it was a valid reason that the Knights, Vikings, and Samurais’ battle would become a popular game on Steam, but PC players jumped off the ship at the first opportunity…

When the game launched, For Honor had 46 thousand players on Steam, claiming a top 10 spot on Steam with the player base. However, just one week after February 14, the number of players have dropped from 46 thousand to 21 thousand, and in another week, it fell further to just 15 thousand, according to Githyp. Ubisoft lost over half its players in just weeks, similarly to how The Division started out a year ago.
