Monolith still has a long way to improve with the next game.
Don’t get us wrong, we don’t say that the new Middle-Earth will be bad, but you can see on the new IGN First gameplay video (which is also in 4K resolution) that during the 4.5 minutes, there are some missing parts.
Also, you don’t see how one of the biggest issues of Shadow of Mordor (getting repetitive and thus boring quickly) is addressed, but instead, you can see some urban orc killing, which is a visually pleasant sight, so not all is dark for Shadow of War at the moment. There will be multiple parties fighting for the victory, so sometimes you might get some allies in combat.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is out on August 22 (North America) or August 25 (Europe) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
