The original placeholder seems to be better than the final one…
Compare the original first image (the placeholder artwork) with the second one, which was seen on Walmart Canada‘s website. Even though they have reverted to the original box art, the Internet doesn’t forget. The new image shows Cortex, a portion of each game’s world, and Crash showing the number three. However, the original artwork looks so… innocent!
There was also a contest in March announced by Activision and Vicarious Visions – their goal was to find Crash’s new idle animation that would happen after a few seconds of standing still. Gematsu has shown the winner animation, called Crash Wumpa Volley, created by Simon Davidian and Kirsty Capes. Playing around with a wumpa fruit can look funny.
The collection will launch (first?) on PlayStation 4 on June 30.
