After The Silver Case, another game gets a remaster-treatment.
The Silver Case was an obscure game. In fact, it only launched in Japan on the PS1 originally all the way back in 1999, but the PC and the PlayStation 4 remaster received a worldwide release in October 2016 and April 2017, respectively. The visual novel received mixed reviews in the West. The sequel, a The Silver Case: Ward 25, was an even more obscure game than the predecessor: it was an episodic title on mobiles with episodes arriving between October 2005 and March 2007, but the remaster, dubbed The 25th Ward: The Silver Case, will be handled by Suda51 once again. He announced it during BitSummit, and he also revealed a teaser video. It’s funky, to say the least.
No release date and platforms were announced, but if we had to guess, the PlayStation 4 and the PC would be the answer to the latter topic. A short piece of news to end: The Silver Case‘s PC remaster is getting a free content update on May 30!
