Middle-Earth: Shadow of War wants to be bigger, better, look better, and play better than its predecessor, Shadow of Mordor. Sure, developers/publishers tend to promise the stars off the sky before their game releases, but with Monolith, they seem to be legitimately true about their upcoming product.
The developers have held a stream on Twitch, and during their roughly 1.5 hours, they had a lot of time to discuss the open world, the upgraded Nemesis system, and other points of interests. If you like Lord of the Rings, Shadow of War might be a good game for you, even though Monolith has expanded Tolkien’s thoughts with what he didn’t go into detail in his books.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is out on August 22/25 (North America/Europe) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
