The only downside is that it seems the game won’t be available physically.
Ninja Theory (DmC: Devil May Cry) has been working on Hellblade for a while, and the developers finally confirmed that their game would be available from August 8 on PlayStation Store, Steam, and GOG with a 30 dollar/30 euro/25 pound price – the half of an AAA title? Fair enough. PlayStation 4 pre-orderers will get a dynamic theme, and the PC pre-ordering will net you a digital comic (Hellblade: Senua‘s Song – Ninja Theory collaborated with Valiant Entertainment on this project).
„In Hellblade we are aiming to revive the lost space between indie and AAA gaming, where creatively diverse experiences made with AAA values can thrive once again. Our hope is that if we make our Independent AAA work with Hellblade, other developers will follow, leading to a more creative and diverse gaming world for developers and players alike,” the developers say.
The new trailer is accompanied by a few new images as well.
