Polyphony Digital is not rushing anything.
For some reason, the game didn’t get a lot of attention during Sony’s E3 conference, even though the franchise has been an essential tool in PlayStation’s toolbox. Still, the developers, true to their style, don’t seem to want to release Gran Turismo Sport in its final form even after delaying it.
Right now, the exact release date for the PlayStation 4-exclusive, PlayStation VR-supporting game is unknown. It’s launching in early autumn or so, which could be September. Now, the second half of September will have Project CARS 2, followed by Forza Motorsport in early October. Racing game lovers will have a wide variety of games, and those who like to race online will appreciate Gran Turismo Sport as well.
