Capcom doesn’t work only on Resident Evil 7(‘s DLCs) and Resident Evil 2’s Remake.

Resident Evil 7’s director, Kōshi Nakanishi, and Resident Evil: Revelations 2’s director Yasuhiro Anpo have both hinted at an unannounced Resident Evil game in development on Capcom’s website. Stevivor has translated parts of the interview. Nakanishi said, „there are many creators at Capcom, including myself, who love Resident Evil, and Anpo-san has something worthy praise that’s in development as well.” Anpo’s response was „I can’t announce anything yet, but as of now, I’ve been developing a certain product. Please look forward to it.”

What will this unannounced game be? Resident Evil 8? Resident Evil Revelations 3? Neither would be much of a surprise – the latter seems real for now, as the first Revelations is getting a current-gen port this autumn on PS4 and X1…
