MachineGames will not stop Wolfenstein with this game.
Jens Matthies, the team’s creative director, told GiantBomb in his E3 video interview that The New Colossus isn’t going to finish the plot, as the Swedish developers already have plans for a sequel. That means The New Order and The New Colossus will be likely followed by one more game to make the new B.J. Blazkowicz adventures into a trilogy. He now has to fight the Nazis in the United States, by the way. Matthies also said that if they get the chance to develop a third game, they are going to include Mecha-Hitler as well, because they „can’t go up from there.” Honest words – they don’t seem to be interested in a new game each year.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is out on October 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
