The Last Day of June got an announcement… on the last day of June. Clever…
Quoting the press release, „visionary Italian independent studio Ovosonico (Murasaki Baby) and indie publisher 505 Games offer deeper insight into the painterly world of the upcoming single-player journey with a new trailer. This cinematic glimpse inside Last Day of June reveals core mechanics of the meaningful narrative, in which players discover portals to the past that allows them to unlock and become characters intertwined in June’s story. Each character will present new emotionally challenging puzzles to solve, as June’s bereaved husband Carl attempts to turn back time and save her life.” Steven Wilson’s background music, Drive Home, is still wonderful, by the way.
The game will launch on August 31, the same day as Life is Strange: Before the Storm (why not call the game The Last Day of August then?) on PlayStation Store and Steam for 15 GBP, which should be about 20 dollars/euros. Pre-ordering offers a 25% discount, as well as a dynamic PS4 theme.
