After the game’s launch, Nintendo’s franchise will attack in a different way, too.
The squid girls have become popular in no time – there was even a concert with them in Japan, which means there’s a lot of potential in the marketing, which Nintendo will use (and abuse), too. That’s why there is going to be an anime adaptation of Splatoon 2.
Japanese CoroCoro magazine announced that the series, based on the manga adaptation, will run on their YouTube channel, and the first episode will launch on August 12. Fans will likely subtitle the episodes in no time as well.
Meanwhile, the world is waiting for the game’s launch: the Switch-exclusive Splatoon 2 is out on July 21!
