An interesting tidbit: a studio related to the movies is responsible for the game.
Let’s explain this situation: Imaginarium Studios has done the performance capture in the recent Planet of the Apes movies, and they have opened a games division called Imaginati. They are working on Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier, which is going to tie together the two recent movies, Dawn and War.
Technically, Imaginarium’s technology will be utilized in the game as well, which is promised to recreate the ambiance seen in the movies. Last Frontier’s story is about a breakaway faction which doesn’t want to be part of the war between the humans and the apes, but as their resources run dry, they have to visit a valley with the humans.
In Last Frontier, you’ll control both apes and humans – everyone is going to be a new, original character, and our decisions will decide who will survive the events. We can expect multiple endings.
Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier will launch this autumn on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
