Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is Free!

It’s always great to get a game for free, especially if it’s a decent title.

GOG offers an excellent game for free. It is none other than Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. As this game launched almost twenty years ago already, you don’t even have to worry that your PC would not run this puzzle-platformer game. You can pretty much run Abe’s adventures on a potato nowadays. Minimum system requirements – Windows: (XP, Vista, 7, 8) 1 GHz Processor (1.4 GHz recommended), 256MB RAM (512 recommended), 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended), Mouse, Keyboard.

All you have to do is go to GOG, then – if you already have an account – click on the Get For Free button on the banner near the top of the page. That’s all. At the moment of writing this article, there are roughly 46 hours left, so don’t miss this offer! This game was remade a few years ago as Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. Abe’s Exoddus remake, Soulstorm, will launch in 2018.
