We heard a few new things about the next CD Projekt RED game.
Interestingly, Cyberpunk 2077‘s French Facebook-page has written about the game, which we took with a huge grain of salt. We’ll recap what they wrote, though.
For example, the site says that we will be able to switch between a first and a third person perspective. In other words, the game will offer a TPS and an FPS mode, as well as stronger character customization than seen in The Witcher 3. There’s also a possibility for flying vehicles to appear in the game, too.
The post also talks about the release window: early/middle 2019 was mentioned, which means Cyberpunk 2077 could be out in the first half of that year, which is realistic. CD Projekt RED finished major work on The Witcher 3 in 2016 after the two expansions, so having three years of almost exclusive focus on this RPG looks reasonable.
Hopefully, the post did not say anything stupid, so again, take it with a grain of salt…
