Fear Effect Sedna: The Franchise Revives In Two Ways! [VIDEO]

Fear Effect was a decent name during the era of the first PlayStation. The revival is in progress.

A French developer team, Sushee, is building on nostalgia by completely remaking Fear Effect into Fear Effect Reinvented. It is going to launch in 2018, but the developers announced on Kickstarter that the real-time tactical spinoff, Fear Effect Sedna, will launch in early 2018. That’s a little later than their original plan (end of 2017).

Fear Effect Sedna is going to be an isometric tactical game where you can swap between your characters at any time while also planning out your next moves while the time is slowed down. Dual-wielding weapons, puzzles, and stunning enemies. These bullet points sound a lot like XCOM, don’t they?

Hana, Rain, Deke, and Glas will attack in early 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and although the game is done, Square Enix is now reviewing the build (that takes a lot of time, doesn’t it…?). Until then, check out a free demo here.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
