There’s no day without a recap.
Sony and Guerrilla made an environment video for Horizon: Zero Dawn‘s expansion called The Frozen Wilds, which will be available from November 7 for twenty dollars. The game’s also getting released as a Complete Edition on December 5/6 (North America/Europe), exclusively on PlayStation 4.
Need For Speed: Payback received a story trailer, featuring the main characters, Ty, Jess, and Mac. Typical revenge plot a la Electronic Arts. The game launches on November 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Gran Turismo Sport got a successful beta. Kaz Yamauchi, the game’s producer, said on Twitter that he is surprised to see the beta got over one million players. The beta is extended until today due to unfortunate server issues. The PlayStation 4-exclusive, which will support the PlayStation VR, will launch on October 17, and it will feature the three times Formula-1 world champion Lewis Hamilton as a mentor for up and coming drivers.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War has an interesting Orc leader. Shaká is not your typical brutal character, although he wants to kill Talion as well. However, when he does so, he starts to sing! A hilarious addition to the game!
At New York Comic Con, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 also received a story trailer. The game will have a Season Pass, which is somewhat weird for a LEGO game, to be fair. The game drops on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17, followed by the Nintendo Switch port on December 1.
Spintires: Mudrunner got its first gameplay video. The updated version of the game launches on PC (where owners of the original game get a 50% discount on top of the 10% preorder discount!), as well as Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You may get your vehicle muddy from October 31.
