A video showing this canceled project comes to light.
A few days before the movie The Justice League premieres in theaters, the portal Unseen64 has brought to light video footage of the canceled video game in which the Double Helix team, authors of the latest Killer Instinct, were working, using to this group of superheroes from the DC Comics universe.
Known provisionally as Justice League Arcade, this 3D beat’em up was going to put us in the shoes of some of the best-known characters of the group such as Superman, Green Lantern, Batman or Wonder Woman; each of them with their own combat skills and battle equipment.
This title of The Justice League was destined to appear on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii, with the intention of premiering next to the film Justice League Mortal in which veteran George Miller worked, creator of Mad Max. When the film was canceled, despite the efforts of Double Helix, Warner Bros. also decided to end a video game that should have been put on sale in 2008.
Part of the work done in this game of The Justice League was later used in Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, a video game that would arrive in stores a few years later next to the Green Lantern movie.
