Indeed, Capcom’s game is buggy… on one of the three platforms.
Let’s start with the free weekend: on the PlayStation Blog, we read that between December 8 and 11, starting and ending at 8 AM Pacific in the US, and 12 PM GMT in Europe, respectively, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download a demo of the game. It will contain the training mode, casual online play, and all thirty base characters.
Meanwhile, the first DLC also launched with its three characters: Venom (premium costume: Anti-Venom), Black Widow (Cosmonaut), and Winter Soldier (James Barnes) are all playable if you already have the 2017 character pass. You can buy them separately as well. Video below.
What about the bug? Those who have the disc version and installed the newest update, then uninstalled and reinstalled the game from the disc, if they didn’t update Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, will not be able to use the old save, as it will be labeled corrupt, and they’d have to make a new save file. Install the update to avoid the bug.
We rarely see such a bug…
