Need For Speed: Payback: A Free Online Roam Is In Development!

Despite the loot boxes, the game continues to expand.

2018 just barely started, and we already have good news for the Need For Speed players. On Twitter, the official account of the franchise announced that in the form of a free update, Need For Speed: Payback is going to get an online roam. In other words, you’re going to be capable of driving around the city online, which could be familiar for those who have been stepping on the gas pedal in the past decade or so.

However, we do not know when this update is going to come, as there’s no release window announced yet. It could come either in February or May, who knows?

If only the gameplay weren’t squished by the loot boxes, maybe our review would have been a bit more relaxed of Need For Speed: Payback…
