Shenmue III: Expect „Other Surprises” This Year!

Aside from the long-awaited Shenmue III, something else might be coming.

Cedric Biscay, the head of the Shibuya Productions studio, knows what Ys Net is doing, as the team helps to develop Shenmue III. On Twitter, he posted an intriguing comment with a photo of a DualShock 4 controller: „I wish you a Happy New Year! All the best for 2018! It will be great with the Shenmue 3 release on PS4 and PC and many other surprises :)”. Many other surprises, huh?

It won’t be surprising to see if that comment is teasing something related to the first two Shenmue games. They might be remastered (or re-released?) on PlayStation 4 and PC to have all the games available in one place.

We’ll see what Biscay was hinting later this year, as Shenmue III launches in the second half of 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
