Another hopeful project showed up on Kickstarter.
A Polish publisher, Movie Games, and the developer, Atomic Jelly, try crowdfunding for 303 Squadron: Battle of Britain, which is going to be a World War II flight simulator. It will mix realistic flight mechanics and physics with an open world aspect, where we will be able to discover RAF’s (Royal Air Force) Northolt Base, and interact with other players and staff, to uncover one of the „countless” side missions. The dev/publisher duo promises a deep story based on real events, as well as experiencing several aspects and emotions on how it feels to be a pilot. There will also be a first-person mechanic mode to tinker around with our machine.
The funny thing is that the game’s PC port requires a measly 12 thousand Canadian dollars, and with 39 days left for the campaign, they already have 4558. That goal will be hit, but the console stretch goals are a little far as of now: the Xbox One port requires 175K, while the PlayStation 4 version needs 220K CAD, respectively.
The developers put the early access release on PC for March. Until then, have a look at the two videos below. We think they’ll hit the console stretch goals.
