Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio’s game might be packed with cutscenes and cinematics.
Let’s face it, Days Gone isn’t getting much time in the spotlight. Now, we heard something that isn’t coming from Sony or the devs – instead, it’s via Jared Huckaby, the community content manager of Star Citizen. He showed up on the first Reverse the Verse stream.
He talked with Sam Witwer, who is the protagonist, Deacon St. John in Days Gone. He told Huckaby that the game has „a whole bunch of hours” of cinematics, which could be interactive as well. The actor also expressed that he would like to be part of Squadron 42, Star Citizen’s single-player spin-off, but that’s a different story altogether…
Although the source is weird this time, don’t forget that Shuhei Yoshida, SIE Worldwide Studios’ president, said that the post-apocalyptic Days Gone is „a big game,” with a major focus on storytelling… which isn’t common in an open world game.
Days Gone will launch in 2018, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
