We can take a look at the game’s beginning – and the visuals are impressive.

Bluepoint Games has set the new standard for remastering older games – basing the game on the original PlayStation 2 codebase; they made a visually more impressive than the original experience while keeping the familiarity. The team has made several great ports and remasters. Just to name a few: ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection (PS3), Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3/X360), Titanfall (X360 port), Gravity Rush Remastered (PlayStation 4), Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (PlayStation 4)…

ArekkzGaming already got the game, and he recorded it from a PlayStation 4 Pro – sure, the video is „only” 1080p, but the ambiance and the style that won so many hearts of PS2 owners at the end of 2005 is still present.

Shadow of the Colossus will launch on February 6, exclusively on PlayStation 4. (Europe might get it on February 7.)
