Although BioWare is apparently not going to do major work on Dragon Age until the completion of Anthem (as we wrote about it yesterday), we still hear a few new details about their other game.
Yes, apparently: Mark Darrah, who’s the executive producer for both the new Dragon Age title and Anthem, has tweeted the following: „Halfway through my trip to Barcelona! I’m here showing Anthem internally to EA. I am [the] EP of BOTH DA and Anthem working with Jonathan Warner as Game Director Anthem’s up next but there are people hard at work on both franchises, and I look forward to sharing more in the future.”
This tweet was reposted by Casey Hudson as well – BioWare‘s general manager also talked about yesterday’s rumors, regarding the new Dragon Age game having „live services.” „Reading lots of feedback regarding Dragon Age, and I think you’ll be relieved to see what the team is working on. [The game is] story & character focused. Too early to talk details, but when we talk about “live” it just means designing a game for continued storytelling after the main story.”
Let’s just hope that we’ll be able to SEE the game – Anthem might be the death knell for BioWare if it flopped!
