Ubisoft tries to boost the sales with a different approach.
Far Cry 5 is going to have a Season Pass, which you can buy separately, or get the game’s Gold Edition that contains it by default. Regarding the Season Pass, the French company revealed its three DLC. They are the following, quoting the press release:
„
- Hours of Darkness: Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers.
- Dead Living Zombies: Players will face hordes of zombies across multiple b-movie scenarios.
- Lost on Mars: Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with Martian arachnids.
”
What on Earth was Ubisoft smoking when they came up with these DLC ideas? Moving onto the bonus game, Ubisoft is going to continue their re-releasing trend (Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, South Park: The Stick of Truth), and Far Cry 3 is going to be their next such game. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is going to be the bonus game, which will also have four weeks of early access for Season Pass holders. The game will launch separately in the summer! PC owners will get the game’s full version for owning Far Cry 5’s Season Pass, possibly via a uPlay code.
Far Cry 5 will launch on March 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
