Two comparison videos arrived that looks at the old and the old-new (as Burnout Paradise’s re-release is not something that could be labeled as new).
An interesting fact: this time, it was the publisher, Electronic Arts, who published the two comparison videos which look at the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC original, then the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version which is just a few days away from launch. Other sites (such as DigitalFoundry) tend to do this, so it’s a surprising move by EA, regardless.
The cars look shinier, the shadows feel softer, and the resolution is, of course, higher than on the prev-gen platforms, but we’d like to see the PERFORMANCE. DigitalFoundry will likely do a frame-rate analysis on the game, as publishers could hide some secrets from us before their game hits the shelves.
Burnout Paradise Remastered will launch on March 16 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC port will launch later this year via Origin.
