There will also be a collector’s edition with early access, too.
For a long time, The Crew 2 was set to launch in early 2018, but Ubisoft delayed it to the next financial year: it could have launched any day between April 1, 2018, and March 31, 2019. However, there’s no need to guess when the racing game will arrive.
First, let’s talk about the Ubisoft Store-exclusive (EU link here, US link here) Motor Edition of The Crew 2, which will cost 100 dollars/euros. It will contain the following items:
- The Crew 2 Gold Edition and season pass let players enjoy new vehicles, outfits, additional content and much more.
- The Motorsports Deluxe Pack, which includes unique outfits and vehicles, including the Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck 2017, Pilatus PC-21 Air Race Edition 2002 Plane, and the Abarth 500 Monster Truck Edition 2008.
- A customized, 11.81” x 5.9” American The Crew 2 license plate that comes in a high-quality collector box, an exclusive Steelbook, the official Roadmap of the game and four original stickers.
There will also be three-day early access to the game, too. Did Star Wars: Battlefront start a new trend?
The Crew Rewards Program has also started – if you complete the monthly challenges in the first The Crew game, you can gain access to up to nineteen cars in the sequel when it launches, including water vehicles. You can still sign up for the beta here.
Let’s not wait any longer mentioning the release date: Ubisoft‘s announcement revealed that Ivory Tower’s game would launch on June 29 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For the Motor Edition owners, they can start playing from June 26.
