Epic Games‘ recently quite popular game also got into the spotlight…
Australia has a program on Nine Network called A Current Affair, which is not a news program – it focuses on current events and discusses them in detail. However, it’s a sensationalist program, which is somewhat proven by the video, concentrating on Fortnite, below as well.
„The latest video game craze is violent, addictive and free, and the kids love it. So, when does harmless fun turn into an unhealthy obsession?” – The video’s description asks. In the video, an eleven-year-old boy describes that „you have to make sure no one kills you.” The reporter asked: „So you kill others [in the game]?” The response was „you just shoot them, and then they fall to the ground and die.”
We’re back to this violent game subject… Fortnite doesn’t seem to be the one that could be banned like Manhunt 2 was in the past. A Current Affair tries to be clickbaity, especially how they asked a kid to define the game…
