Outriders: What Is Square Enix Preparing?

This unknown project might be announced at E3.

The Japanese publisher filed a trademark for this name at the EUIPO, and we don’t know what it could hide at the moment. It might be an AAA game, but there might be a surprise behind the name.

It could be People Can Fly’s (Painkiller, Bulletstorm…) AAA shooter, which was confirmed a year ago to be in development. As the Polish team has opened two studios, it might be their game. (Hopefully, it’s not going to be a battle royale game.)

Square Enix‘s E3 program will start on June 11, at 10 AM Pacific, and there are a few candidates/confirmed titles to be part of the event: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV DLC, Left Alive, The Avengers (Crystal Dynamics), Final Fantasy VII remake, Life is Strange 2. There’s a lot to choose from, and even Dontnod could be pulling a surprise here by showing us Life is Strange 2 in action.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
