A long retransmission of Twitch reveals the company’s next sandbox.
After keeping the fans awake for many hours, the strange Fallout retransmission with the text ” please stand by ” has concluded, showing a teaser trailer for Fallout 76. Without giving great details about its background, the well-known journalist Jason Schreier has shared on Kotaku that, according to internal sources, Fallout 76 could be an online game developed by Bethesda Maryland and the Austin studio, formerly known as Battlecry Studios.
Although no information has been offered about his approach, Bethesda has officially pronounced on Twitter accompanying the announcement of this game with a cryptic phrase that could help us contextualize the setting of Fallout 76: “When the fight is over and radioactivity has diminished … “In any case, it is not long before we can learn about the game, and that is that Fallout 76 will occupy a prominent place in the Bethesda conference of E3 2018.
When? On June 11 at 3:30, Peninsular time. Meanwhile, you can take a look at the review of Fallout 4 to know what gave the last numerical delivery of the saga.
The interesting thing, is that New Vegas’ developer, Obsidian, reacted on Twitter: „How do you let someone down easily? Asking for a friend. #ItsNotUs” We may have written about in 2017 how Obsidian expressed that they would like to create another Fallout game. Recently, they have been working on Pillars of Eternity II.
So it seems that there might be a new Fallout title (or will it be a re-release of 3 and New Vegas on current-gen consoles?) but without Obsidian’s development. It would be sad if this were true…
