He stayed under Sony‘s wings, but we don’t know his current studio.
Quentin Cobb formerly worked on The Last Of Us and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, but since then, he left Naughty Dog, where he was mainly responsible for multiplayer system designs (although he had involvement in the previously mentioned games’ single-player campaigns as well). On Twitter, he wrote the following: „Today was my first day as an S[enio]r. Game Designer for Sony today. I can’t wait to talk about the project I’m working on and what the future holds. It’s good to be back!” When he was asked which studio he is at, he only replied with the word „secret” (and a GIF).
On his LinkedIn, we can see that Cobb got this position at Sony earlier in May. After leaving Naughty Dog, he moved to Daybreak (H1Z1!) to work on a „new, unannounced AAA game’s” combat design as a senior game designer.
Cobb might be doing something next-gen by this point.
