Bethesda‘s next Fallout, which took an unexpected turn, finally has a beta launch window.
The publisher’s forums confirmed some new information about the online-focused, West Virginian Fallout 76, which requires you to pre-order (at „participating retailers” no less… so it might be a little limited unless the PlayStation Network is also part of this list) to gain access to the B.E.T.A.. They will „start small and grow over time” as they „prepare for launch,” according to the announcement.
The developers will hold a panel at QuakeCon, revealing more details about Fallout 76 there. It’s going to be on August 11, and Bethesda will stream it on Twitch and Mixer.
So, a beta will be held roughly a month before the game’s release, which is somewhat worrying. (And even Bethesda is admittedly afraid a bit, too.) The beta will first start on Xbox One, followed by the PlayStation 4 and the PC at a later date. Fallout 76 will arrive on November 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
