“A stunning yet dangerous world full of adventure.”
Square Enix continues their series that focuses on a specific aspect of the game in each mini-trailer. The latest one was about the game’s traps and traversing, the new one, however, focuses on the world itself.
Based on the trailer the game looks to be fun and interesting, but there are a few things to keep in mind. While the PC version of the game looks fantastic based on the 4K demonstration that is available on NVIDIA’s YouTube page, Shadow of the Tomb Raider basically looks like a prev-gen title on many of the other videos that use console footage, at least according to a lot of people on the internet. Aside from this, the animations look janky as well as the character models. Overall, from a technical standpoint, the game looks to be a step back compared to Rise of the Tomb Raider, it just looks unpolished.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is going to release on September 14th, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
