Marvel’s Spider-Man‘s release is very close, therefore more and more news come to see the light of day about the game.

In September, Marvel’s Spider-Man is going to release only on the PlayStation 4 and at San Diego Comic-Con some outlets had the chance to try the game’s first hours. Thanks to this we learned some interesting things about Insomniac Games‘ newest work.

Although we already knew that Mary Jane will be a playable character, we didn’t know in what kind of missions she will be playable at. Based on the experiences from Comic-Con, Mary Jane will be playable in a segment of a normal mission. The player will control Spider-Man first, then the game switches Mary Jane in a form of a flashback. Then the player needs to stealth his way into Fisk’s gallery in order to make some photos while solving some easy puzzles.

As for Peter, we have learned that Peter will have his own lab in the game and there will be puzzles tied to this as well. The players will be able to create modifications and use them here, as well as change outfits. Insomniac Games originally wanted to include 60 outfits, but there will be “only” 25 in the game – but that’s still quite a big number. The players will be able to choose from outfits such as Spider-Punk, Iron Spider, Spider-Man Noir, or the outfit from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
