Three games get a short recap.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider ‘s new video introduces the enemies to us. Lara Croft will have a ton of people trying to kill him from Trinity’s soldiers to the local tribes, and there’s also the wildlife that could end her life. The game is out on September 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Meanwhile, The Quiet Man is slowly turning towards Yakuza with its combat system. Dane, the deaf protagonist, seems to have taken a few lessons from Kazuma Kiryu because the Focus mode (that brings out the special finishing blows) looks similar to the heat attacks seen in Yakuza. Still, you have to keep an eye on your surroundings: there will be no HP bar, and on the lens flare on the right side of the screen will show if you’re ready to use Focus mode or not. The game, which is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PC, has no release date yet.
F1 2018 also got a new trailer, which, despite its title, doesn’t have much gameplay. Codemasters claims they are „trying to get as close to the real world sport as possible regarding visuals, simulation and the surroundings.” Regarding the visuals, LOL. Simulation and surroundings-wise, they might have a point. The game is out on the 24th, at the end of the Formula-1’s summer break, on PS4, X1, and PC.
