How will Agent 47’s reboot adventures be included in the sequel?
Hitman Legendary Pack is both lazy and clever at the same time. Why? Let’s quote the press release: „All six locations – Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado and Hokkaido – will be accessible as downloadable content (DLC) and will incorporate various new features from Hitman 2, including a brand new progression system, addition of hiding in foliage and crowds displayed at improved fidelity, picture-in-picture mode, strategic use of mirrors, improved combat A.I., new gameplay items like the briefcase, dart gun, flash grenades, etc., new difficulty levels, and much more!”
It’s lazy because IO Interactive just lifts over the assets (albeit somewhat updated) to the sequel, but it’s still creative: those who own the first game will receive the Legendary Pack for free! That’s not a terrible offer, though.
Hitman 2, which will drop the episodic approach aside from the post-launch DLC, will be launched by Warner on November 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
