Thanks to Nvidia’s presentation that was held yesterday, we also got a brand new trailer for the upcoming FPS.
Metro Exodus was at Nvidia’s stage yesterday where it was revealed that the game will support the company’s ray tracing solution, Nvidia RTX. It basically makes it possible to simulate much more realistic lighting and reflections in games, like in Metro.
Deep Silver also announced that at Gamescom 2018, as part of the GeForce Gaming Celebration event, Metro Exodus will be playable for the visitors. From August 21 to August 25, anyone will be able to try the game there at Deep Silver’s or Xbox’s booth (the first is in Hall 8, the second is in Hall 9).
By the way, the new trailer shows the game from a quite fresh aspect, because it has a much scarier, fearful and darker vibe. The very strong atmosphere manages to come through the trailer but it isn’t surprising considering that the previous two Metro games were extremely atmospheric as well.
Metro Exodus is going to release in February 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There won’t be a Switch version, however, next to the Nvidia RTX support the game will support PS4Pro and Xbox One X as well.
